Quebec Vs. The ROC (a.k.a. rest of Canada)

当年我妈她在Mtl找到实验室里的工作时，她应该没有想过这座城市会对她的offspring(咳，也就是我）有那么大的影响。不错，我的基础教育是由montreal的若干公立图书馆全权出资源出人力赞助的。其实我也没想到我会被Qc文化潜移默化地改造了那么多。

 

怎么被改造？我又没和当地人有多么深入的么接触。好像只有两点比较关键，两年以来断断续续看的La Presse，Arts & Spectacles, Cinema和 Actuel这三版的所有专栏我都可以背出来了， 一年以来洗碗时听的Radio-Canada ,周末和晚间的节目表也已基本掌握。其他的嘛，大大小小的地铁站的名字也大致能对上相应的人物事迹。

也许有人会说，Quebec有什么文化啊，不就是法国的弃子心态在作孽吗？封闭自大，愚昧而不思进取。可是我在我有限的经历中，看到的那些在媒体视线前沿活跃的人，都是让我向往的，钦佩而羡慕的。从震惊，排斥，到麻木，无视，到容忍，接受，乃至最后的支持，所有的事情，一切的歧视和偏见，最初的厌恶和恐惧，都是出于缺乏了解。如果在我的有生之年，姥姥不疼，舅舅不爱的魁北克终于独立了，我该不会搬家吧。。。Canada对我来说。。。。才是一个陌生的国家。
